Q: Why is the book called "My First Keepsake".
A: This book both represents and is a gift of love for the baby who is unborn.   We think that's a pretty good first keepsake. 
 

Q:  What does Zaida Baby mean?
A:  Zaida Baby means ‘fortunate baby’, ‘lucky baby’, and ‘prosperous baby’.    Zaida Baby is also our company name.

Q:  Who was the “My First Keepsake” book designed for?
A:  The “My First Keepsake” book was created as the perfect gift for every expectant mother...single mothers and two parent families. Its elegant black linen cover represents mom’s stylish side, and the content is easy to fill out, making this the perfect gift for yourself or a friend. 

Q:  Why is it referred to as ‘the unborn baby’ book?
A:  “My First Keepsake” is the first baby book to include an inspirational love letter that parents can read to their unborn baby on a daily basis.  It is designed to read like a story book, with photographs to inspire and words to touch both your heart and your baby’s heart.

Q:  Does medical research point to the power of prenatal bonding? 
A:  Yes, the power of prenatal bonding is proven and “My First Keepsake” is a way to form a prenatal bond with your unborn baby.  By reading this inspirational love letter, you are establishing an emotional connection with your baby that is based on love.  Parent’s voices are the number one sound to have in a baby’s environment and the positive words will create a world in which your baby will thrive.

Q:  Can I personalize “My First Keepsake”? 
A:  Absolutely.  There is a pregnancy journal for a mother to express her feelings about the pregnancy and then baby’s first year allowing for numerous photographs and stories.  You may choose to scrapbook, or simply fill out your book.  Permanent marker is recommended either way.

Q:  I’ve heard that it is also a time capsule.  What do you mean? 
A:  “My First Keepsake” has a page titled ‘the world around me’ and another called ‘the price of life’.  On these two pages, parents can document the price that things were the year their baby was born as well as gather information on fashion trends and popular television shows etc.

Q:  When I buy “My First Keepsake” will it arrive gift wrapped? 
A: Every book ordered from our website will arrive gift wrapped since we consider it a gift whether you are ordering for yourself or for a friend.  “My First Keepsake” is carefully wrapped with red tissue paper and sealed with a Zaida Baby label at no additional cost.  Included with your order is a blank note card reading ‘I love you’ for you to keep or for you to give.  

Q:  Is “My First Keepsake” of archival quality? 
A:  Yes.  The pages are acid-free and are guaranteed to last for years.

Q:  Is “My First Keepsake” printed on recycled paper? 
A:  Yes.  “My First Keepsake” is printed on FSC approved paper, meaning that the fibers
used in its production come from well managed forests.

Q:  Was “My First Keepsake” created in North America?
A:  Yes. It was important to Zaida Baby to support local business's in the creation of "My First Keepsake".

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A:  Our website accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and PayPal.  All orders are processed by PayPal, however you do not need a PayPal account to order online.

Q:  Is my credit card information secure when I place my order?
A:  Yes.  PayPal securely processes all payments for Zaida Baby.

Q: How much does shipping cost and how long until I receive “My First Keepsake”? 
A: A $10 shipping charge is applied at the checkout.  Orders are shipped out the next business day, and ship next day priority within Canada.  Orders traveling to the United States can expect to arrive approximately 5-10 business days from the time you place your order, depending on your location.


Q: Do you ship “My First Keepsake” outside of Canada and the United States?
A: For customers residing outside of Canada and the United States, please see our list of international retailers that ship “Zaida Baby – My First Keepsake” worldwide. Additional charges may apply.

Q: Will I have to pay sales tax?
A: Only customers residing in the province of Ontario will pay 8% sales tax.

Q: I would like to ship “My First Keepsake” as a gift.  Can I ship to a third party? 
A: Yes.  Fill out the billing address and the shipping address as your own.  Then make a note for Zaida Baby to ship to your friend with the complete mailing address in the space provided by PayPal below the shipping information.  All invoices are sent electronically when you order by PayPal, so there will not be an invoice included.

Q: What if I want to return my book?
A: We hope that you will love your Zaida Baby book as much as we do!  However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase we will happily refund your money.  Books returned must be in new condition.  Zaida Baby will not refund books that have been used or written on.  You will be responsible for the return shipping costs of the book.  Before returning your book, contact Zaida Baby for authorization.  Call customer service at 519.616.2473 or email customerservice@zaidababy.com within 10 days of receiving your “My First Keepsake” book.
